Circle pauses USDC on Noble on January 12, 2027: move it off before then
Deadline: 12 January 2027 · CCTP V1 burn limits shrink from 31 Oct; narrower after 1 Dec (86 days left) After 12 Jan 2027: Noble USDC and CCTP routes are paused. Circle opens a manual redemption from 13 Jan 2027 for holder-controlled wallets in the snapshot that pass its compliance checks. Checked against the official sources below on 18 October 2026.
Circle announced on 10 September 2026 that it is discontinuing USDC and CCTP V1 on the Noble blockchain (Cosmos). New minting via Circle Mint stopped on 13 October 2026. USDC stays transferable on Noble until 12 January 2027, when Circle fully pauses the Noble USDC contract and all CCTP routes. CCTP V1 burn limits start shrinking on 31 October 2026, and after 1 December CCTP exits may only reach chains that still accept V1 burns. Balances left on the pause date go into a snapshot and a slower manual redemption process from 13 January 2027.
1. The official route
Find where your Noble USDC sits. Noble USDC also appears on other Cosmos chains (Osmosis, dYdX, Neutron and others) as USDC.n or an IBC USDC; it is affected wherever it sits.
Circle lists three ways out: send it to a centralised exchange that still accepts Noble USDC deposits; swap it on a DEX on Noble or another Cosmos chain; or use a CCTP V1 burn from Noble to another supported chain.
Move early. CCTP V1 burn limits begin reducing on 31 October 2026, and after 1 December 2026 CCTP exits may be limited to destination chains that still accept V1 burns.
Circle says it will publish a shortlist of known exit venues and does not run its own exit app. Use only links from Circle's blog or Help Center.
2. Things that catch people out
The pause date is 12 January, but the practical CCTP window narrows much earlier (31 October and 1 December).
Manual redemption after the pause needs a holder-controlled wallet that is in the pause-day snapshot and passes Circle's compliance checks. USDC in a contract or a pool may not qualify, so withdraw it to your own wallet first.
Scammers will offer "Noble USDC migration" links. Circle says to rely only on its blog and Help Center.

3. Moving funds onward
Our fast-exit box only handles EVM chains and Solana routes that Relay supports; Noble is not one of them. Once your USDC is on an EVM chain, the box can move it onward.
