Angle is winding down: redeem EURA and USDA 1:1 before March 1, 2027
Deadline: 1 March 2027 (134 days left) After 1 Mar 2027: redemptions through the Angle app end; reports of the governance decision say remaining reserves go pro rata to eligible unredeemed Ethereum holders via Merkl, with a one-year claim window. Angle Protocol's community approved (AIP-112) an orderly one-year wind-down of its EURA (formerly agEUR) and USDA stablecoins. Angle says the protocol remains fully collateralised and every EURA and USDA can be redeemed 1:1 through app.angle.money before 1 March 2027. Redemption runs on Ethereum, so balances on other chains must be bridged back to Ethereum first. After the deadline, active operations stop and the tokens may lose their peg.
1. The official route
If your EURA or USDA is in a lending market, LP or vault, withdraw it to your wallet first.
If it is on another chain (Arbitrum, Base, Polygon, Gnosis and others), bridge it back to Ethereum first, using the official Angle app where it offers a route for your chain.
On Ethereum, open app.angle.money (type it yourself) and redeem EURA for EURC or USDA for USDC at 1:1 before 1 March 2027. You need ETH for gas.

2. Things that catch people out
Redemption is on Ethereum only. Bridging back from an L2 takes extra time and gas, so don't leave it to the last week.
EURA was called agEUR until 2024. Old agEUR balances are the same token.
