Blur's website goes offline November 12, 2026 and Blend stops new loans the same day
Deadline: 12 November 2026 (25 days left) After 12 Nov 2026: no blur.io website; the protocol contracts keep working on-chain. Checked against the official sources below on 18 October 2026.
Blur said the blur.io frontend will be deprecated on 12 November 2026. Only the website is going away: the Blur marketplace protocol stays on-chain and BLUR holders keep control of its fee switch. Blend, Blur's NFT lending platform, stops matching new loans on 12 November; borrowers have until then to repay or let loans default. Blur said it will provide a tool afterwards to help users withdraw assets from Blend.
1. The official route
Blend borrowers: repay open loans on blur.io before 12 November 2026, or the loan can default and the lender can take the NFT.
Withdraw any ETH from your Blur Bid Pool and cancel open bids and listings while the website still works.
Lenders: track your loans; Blur says it will provide a withdrawal tool for Blend assets after the frontend closes.
2. Things that catch people out
Blur's parent team also runs Blast, which is shutting down on 26 October. If you hold assets on Blast, see the Blast page.
Open listings stay valid on-chain after the website goes away; cancel listings you no longer want.
