Cobo says its consumer Cobo Wallet App ceases service from 1 December 2026, 00:00 (UTC+8), which is 30 November 16:00 UTC. Assets left in an account after that are charged a monthly account management fee of 2% of the remaining assets, with a minimum of USD 100 per month, first charged on 1 January 2027. Balances under USD 100 would be taken in a single charge.
1. The official route
Open the Cobo Wallet app and withdraw every asset, on every chain, to a wallet or exchange address you control.
Replace or remove your Cobo Wallet address anywhere it is set as a receiving address (exchanges, mining pools, payroll).
Check small balances too: under the fee rule, a balance worth less than USD 100 would be deducted in one go.
2. Things that catch people out
UTC+8 midnight is the afternoon of 30 November in Europe and the morning of 30 November in the Americas.
Mining-pool payouts still pointing to a Cobo address after the deadline would land in an account that is being charged fees.
