The Sweat Foundation announced on 1 October 2026 that Sweat Wallet and the SWEAT token in their present form end on 30 December 2026. The app works until then. You should back up your private key and NEAR account ID, claim earned SWEAT, empty your Grow Jars, and move balances held on Ethereum, Base, BSC or Arbitrum inside the app. The Sweat NEAR validator stops on 31 October 2026. Sweat recommends finishing by 18 December.
1. The official route
Back up your private key and NEAR account ID: Profile → Security → View private key → Copy. Store it with your account ID. Your secret phrase is also a full backup.
Claim any unclaimed SWEAT, then in Grow tap Empty All (no minimum term since 12 October). Keep a little liquid SWEAT for fees.
If you hold balances on Ethereum, Base, BSC or Arbitrum inside the app, move them to another wallet you control while the app runs.
NEAR staked with sweat_validator.poolv1.near: unstake or redelegate before 31 October 2026; unstaking takes several epochs.
2. Things that catch people out
Don't remove the Apple/Google sign-in keys or the secret-phrase login from your account; that can make the backed-up private key unusable.
Sweat never DMs first and never asks for your private key.
