Stargate V1 liquidity pools close on every chain on December 15, 2026
Deadline: 15 December 2026 (58 days left) After 15 Dec 2026: Stargate V1 pools become inoperable; LPs who haven't withdrawn risk losing access. Checked against the official sources below on 18 October 2026.
LayerZero is retiring the V1 relayer that Stargate V1 depends on, so Stargate V1 liquidity pools close on every chain on 15 December 2026. Zero-fee withdrawals are enabled for LPs. Roughly two weeks before the deadline, V1 messaging is paused and pools reopen only for withdrawals. Stargate V2 and Hydra are not affected. On Metis Andromeda, V1 liquidity should be withdrawn earlier, by 23 October.
1. The official route
Open the Stargate app, find your V1 pool positions (they may be staked in the farm), unstake, then withdraw liquidity. Zero-fee withdrawals are enabled.
Do it before the late-November messaging pause if you can, then check again after the pools reopen for withdrawals only.
LayerZero suggests moving to more liquid chains such as Ethereum, Arbitrum or BNB Chain.
2. Things that catch people out
Stargate V2 and Hydra pools are not affected; check which version your LP tokens are.
On Metis, the V1 cut-off is 23 October, not 15 December.
