Metis says Stargate support for Metis Andromeda ends on 23 October 2026 and LayerZero Labs' DVN and Executor stop serving Metis on 30 October 2026. Most holders need do nothing: m.USDC, m.USDT, WETH and METIS on Metis are issued by the Metis canonical bridge. Stargate liquidity providers on Metis must withdraw by 23 October, and METIS, HERA, QI or MTVT bridged out through LayerZero V1 should be bridged back by then.
1. The official route
Stargate LPs on Metis (V2 USDT/ETH/METIS pools, V1 USDT/METIS/MAI pools): unstake LP tokens if staked, then withdraw in the Stargate app with Metis Andromeda selected. Do it before 23 October.
METIS, HERA, QI or MTVT bridged out via LayerZero V1: bridge back to Metis Andromeda before 23 October using the same route you used to leave. If you can't, contact the Metis team (t.me/MetisL2).
m.USDC, m.USDT, WETH, METIS on Metis: nothing to do. The Metis canonical bridge to and from Ethereum is unchanged.
Other LayerZero-bridged tokens (USDe, FRAX and others): follow the issuer; supported V2 pathways are Metis to Ethereum, BNB Chain and GOAT Network.
2. Things that catch people out
Stargate V1 pools close on every chain on 15 December 2026, but on Metis cross-chain messaging stops earlier, so withdraw V1 liquidity by 23 October there too.
Withdrawals depend on available pool liquidity at the time. Don't wait for the last days.
